Worked on a movie with Randy Quaid once and was not evenly remotely surprised to see he and his nut-job, former model wife Evi have been arrested for failure to pay a $10,000 hotel bill. This guy is trouble everywhere he goes and last year was the first Oscar nominee to ever get thrown out of the actors union for behavior unbecoming an actor. Think about that for a minute. And his wife might be worse.
He was relatively well behaved while in Canada, considering what he's proven capable of. Some highlights include, showing up to his five star hotel room, taking the gift basket, and checking himself into a more expensive five star hotel room. Another good one was when he showed up for rehearsal, two days before we started shooting and he insisted his character had an Australian accent. Funny thing is, he nailed the accent and it actually gave the character more depth and back story and it improved the film. I'm still trying to figure out how his hotel room bullshit made the movie better.

I know - I know! I remember you ranting and raving at Randy and his wife's primadonna antics - and then he pulls this stunt. Great stuff. Really great stuff. Kind of reinforces the idea that ultimately people do not change their stripes. For example - you are still wearing those cowboy boots of yours with the heels of your feet coming out the bottom. As well - you are driving around Copenhagen in your Firefly totally just hanging out. Unrelated - running in my 4th Toronto half-marathon this Sunday. Remember very fondly our 12 hour booze bender post-2007 half-marathon. We basically hit every saloon on Bloor St. including the Pump (twice) and that upstairs pool room where we always beat Barnsey to a pulp.
How did Barnzy do this weekend, out of ten Barnzy points?
Supposedly Barnzey was too nervous and scared to confront certain family issues chez Kashe Lake - thus I will give Barnzey a 6 in terms of weekend Barnzey points. He probably acquited himself nicely at the liquor table - but unfortunately left certain lingering issues unresolved.
I'm curious for your sage advice on how exactly I should have resolved these lingering issues.....I had it out with my brother several months ago telling him if it was a friend I would punch him in the face and never talk to him again but he is my brother so we're kind of stuck.
