Dog Ears

Today you lucky bastards get two posts. This one's on dogs.

Dogs have a super amazing sense of smell and their ears are totally awesome, correct? How does that work? The sound thing I mean. Does something that's loud to us seem really loud to them? What about those bark-y dogs that yap in that high-pitched yelp? They must make themselves deaf before their blowing the candles out on their first (7th) dog bone.

Wish I weren't so allemehlergic to catses. Likely to get a dog meself this year. Rather like the idea of nightly mutt walks. Any breed suggestions, anyone?

I hear greyhounds are basically like cats in a dogs body. They sleep all the time and don't need much exercise. There's also a breed, I think it's the Australian Sheep Dog that is apparently pretty smart.

We have had excellent success with Hungarian Viszlas but they do require quite a bit of exercise but great with kids.

English Bulldogs might be more your speed.
